  • Heavy Duty cord for colwood burner

Hi Folks, I'm new here and want to make a Heavy Duty Cord with a Male RCA End on it. It will have the two little forks on the other end to attach to the screws. the cord should be 16 gage wire. Will soldering 1 lead to the center of the RCA and the other lead to the body of the RCA work. Any help would be appreciated.
    thank you
    Larry

    Hey Larry, and welcome.

I think most folks by pre-made, but I don't know why that wouldn't work.

It should. It's not rocket science and since these units are AC, it doesn't matter which wire goes where AND, it's cheaper and faster than waiting for the mail!
